Local Area Coordination in England and Wales

There are currently 10 areas implementing Local Area Coordination in collaboration with the Network, with over one million people able to draw on the support of a Local Area Coordinator. Councils investing in Local Area Coordination range from London boroughs and city councils across England and Wales, to county councils covering mixed rural and urban areas.

Each member of the Network develops their Local Area Coordination programme in line with the learning from international evaluations, the skills and experience of other Network members, the guidance and support of the national Local Area Coordination Network and the principles and design features of Local Area Coordination which inform practice.
